Key missions: Lead and coach a team of engineers building customer experiences across React Native and supporting backend services.. Own delivery for your team’s roadmap. Drive planning, execution, and clear stakeholder communication.. Maintain a high bar for engineering excellence, including system design, code quality, testing strategy, observability, and operational readiness. Profile: - Experience delivering consumer-facing software and driving execution through ambiguity - Typically 6-8+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years managing engineers (or equivalent leadership experience) - Experience building with React Native (or leading teams transitioning to it) - This position requires either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field - Hands-on technical leadership: Expectation to stay close to the code and architecture, including doing design/code reviews, pairing when useful, and contributing directly as needed to unblock delivery and maintain a high engineering bar - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to influence across teams - Technical depth sufficient to guide architecture and quality decisions, and to hold a high bar on engineering practices
