Software Engineer - UI/UX

Role Overview

As a Software Engineer (UI/UX), you will build the user experiences that help security defenders detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats. You’ll simplify complex data, design intuitive workflows, and make thoughtful engineering decisions that improve software quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evolve UI/UX features from concept through delivery and ongoing maintenance
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to turn ambiguous problems into well-structured solutions
• Make engineering decisions balancing user experience, technical quality, and long-term maintainability
• Simplify systems and reduce technical complexity to enhance overall software quality
• Lead improvements to engineering practices, tooling, and developer experience
• Contribute to architecture and engineering standards, best practices, and tooling evolution
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve engineering effectiveness and output

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent demonstrated capability)
• Strong software development fundamentals and application of engineering principles
• Proficiency with modern front-end technologies, specifically React and TypeScript
• Experience with testing frameworks, state management, and modern build tools
• Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams (Product/Design)
• Sound problem-solving skills and good engineering judgment
• Ability to own projects end-to-end (concept → delivery → maintenance)
