Role Overview

Contract Software Engineer (Front-end) focused on building scalable frontend components for remote work (10–40 hrs/week).

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable frontend components using TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Integrate RESTful APIs and manage data flow between frontend and backend services
Maintain high code quality via code reviews and documentation
Implement and maintain testing strategies compatible with CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless UI experiences
Stay current with tooling improvements to enhance workflow and application performance

Requirements

Expert-level proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript
Deep experience with TypeScript in large-scale web projects
Demonstrated expertise in API integration and frontend data handling best practices
Solid understanding of frontend tooling ecosystem (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm, Yarn)
Proven experience with automation testing frameworks and methodologies
