Role Overview

Software Engineer, Treasury (II and Senior levels)

Join Lithic’s Treasury team, which builds and maintains backend services that manage the flow of funds between Lithic and external parties. You’ll work on mission-critical systems including the ledger, ACH and wire infrastructure, and high-precision reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Own initiatives from planning through launch, maintaining a high bar for quality and keeping stakeholders aligned.
• Build a deep mental model of the Treasury ecosystem—how money moves—and develop expertise in the business domain.
• Improve system resilience, ensuring reliability and correctness for ledger and orchestrated funds flows.
• [Senior] Lead architectural direction and solve the most complex technical challenges; help systems scale gracefully.

Requirements

• Strong business and technical curiosity, with the ability to dig to root causes and understand broader ecosystem impact.
• Structured approach to learning and growth mindset for complex systems.
• High autonomy and urgency—deliver quality solutions with clear problem ownership.
• [Senior] Experience designing and scaling distributed systems where reliability and correctness are foundational.

Nice to Have

• Prior fintech experience is not required (domain expertise can be developed on the job).
