About the role

Role Overview

Join a long-term programme with a leading public sector end client in the defence sector as a Software Developer (Frontend, Backend, or Full Stack). This is a fully remote role requiring active UK SC Clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop and support software using JavaScript/TypeScript in Frontend, Backend, or Full Stack capacities
Work within Agile delivery teams to deliver features and improvements
Contribute to delivery within a defence / government / public sector context

Requirements

Strong commercial experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
Experience with React and/or Node.js
Background in Frontend, Backend, or Full Stack development
Experience working in Agile delivery teams
Active SC Clearance (must be currently active)

Nice to Have

Current DV Clearance
Willingness and eligibility to undergo DV Clearance
Prior experience delivering into Defence, Government, or wider Public Sector environments

Contract Details

Contract length: Initial 6 months with rolling extensions
Rate: £650–£700 per day (Outside IR35)
Work model: Fully remote
Clearance: Active SC Clearance required (DV preferred)
Interview availability: Immediate
