Role Overview

Software Engineer – Technical Lead (Remote) Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams, partner with architecture to design scalable solutions, and drive technology strategy across the product.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams; foster continuous improvement and innovation
• Collaborate with peers (including the architecture team) to design complex software solutions balancing technical excellence and business needs
• Drive technology strategy: make or influence key decisions on architecture, technology selection, and engineering best practices
• Facilitate communication between engineering, product management, and stakeholders
• Champion Agile methodologies and continuous delivery to improve quality and productivity
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality
• Maintain an innovation-driven, get-things-done execution mindset
• Practice continuous learning and provide empathetic leadership to motivate teams

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Proven technical leadership experience in modern software development environments
• Strong understanding of software design principles and architectural patterns
• Expert-level proficiency in:
  • Microservices
  • Distributed systems design
  • External system integration best practices
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Periodic travel for team meetings
• In-person interview required at an office for final rounds (travel reimbursed)

Compensation

• $121,400 – $161,500 (based on experience)
