Software Engineer

Role Overview

Lead the transformation of a marketing platform from traditional WordPress to a modern Headless architecture. Build high-performance, scalable, UX-focused marketing experiences using modern frontend technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration from classic WordPress to a Headless setup.
• Design and implement scalable web solutions with React and Next.js.
• Build fast, responsive, UX-focused marketing websites.
• Collaborate with marketing and technical stakeholders to improve website performance and support SEO/AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) initiatives.
• Integrate WordPress CMS with modern frontend technologies and marketing platforms.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and define best practices for future development.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering at least one significant Headless WordPress implementation.
• Strong skills in:
  • React, Next.js
  • WordPress CMS
  • HTML5/CSS3
  • PHP
  • Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Client-Side Rendering (CSR)
  • Git/GitHub
  • SASS/SCSS
  • UX-focused web development
  • Marketo integrations
• Demonstrated career stability (typically 2+ years in previous roles).
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, structured organizations.
• Own problems end-to-end and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Able to share GitHub repositories or relevant work samples.

Nice to Have

• Vue.js
• Experience with SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
• B2B marketing websites

Location / Eligibility

• Remote (United States); comfortable collaborating across multiple U.S. time zones (including East Coast).
