About the role

Role Overview

You will join a small engineering team to expand the company’s core platform that coordinates inventory, purchasing, and shop-floor material flow. This is an end-to-end product-focused role partnering closely with the CTO and product stakeholders to define what gets built.

Responsibilities

Own full-stack delivery of business-driven features across a React/TypeScript frontend
Partner with the CTO and product stakeholders on scope and requirements (product ownership mindset, not ticket execution)
Collaborate with an in-house UX designer to implement user workflows cleanly and simply
Design and review REST API contracts across internal and public-facing surfaces
Contribute to architecture and technology decisions with the CTO and a Principal Engineer
Use agentic AI tooling as a real productivity multiplier

Requirements

6+ years building production web applications with React and TypeScript
Strong Next.js experience, including server-side rendering
Solid REST API design fundamentals (resource modeling, error handling, pagination, versioning)
Conceptual depth in distributed systems/microservices
Product ownership mentality: shaping scope and trade-offs
Must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship)
Must be based in Seattle, WA

Nice to Have

Background in supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial operations
Experience working directly with a CTO/founders in an early-stage company
Active day-to-day use of agentic AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot)
