About the role

Role Overview

You will join Sundayy as a Lead Software Engineer (Front End), driving delivery of complex, impactful software solutions that shape product outcomes and influence overall technical direction. This remote role involves technical leadership, mentoring, and architecting modern front-end experiences.

Responsibilities

Set and guide the front-end technical vision aligned with product objectives
Lead design, development, and deployment of modern front-end solutions from conception to launch
Participate in technical design discussions to support scalable, robust architecture
Drive engineering execution through Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning and delivery)
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements and provide technical insights
Establish and enforce best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns
Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and consistency
Mentor and develop front-end engineers
Troubleshoot complex issues, mitigate technical risks, and propose innovative solutions
Promote strong documentation standards
Stay current with emerging tech trends and recommend improvements

Requirements

8+ years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Deep understanding of React and React Router
Experience with component libraries and front-end architecture
Experience with front-end testing libraries: Vitest and Playwright
Knowledge of accessibility principles and front-end performance optimization
Experience with Deno and modern development tools
Proficiency with Git and Bitbucket
Experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity and Docker
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Visual Studio Code, and Chrome DevTools
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities
