About the role

Join Unity Technologies as a QA Engineer for Unity Studio, a cutting-edge, browser-based real-time 3D authoring tool. You will be embedded in a fast-moving, cross-functional team and will own the testing process end-to-end. Your responsibilities will include manual and exploratory testing, managing defects, collaborating with engineers and product managers, and contributing to process improvements. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with defect management tools, and a good understanding of testing methodologies. Profile: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail - Experience with defect management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA - Ability to work to tight deadlines, manage workloads, and escalate where required - Experience writing and executing manual test cases in line with project scope - Comfortable collaborating across teams and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues - Strong experience with QA testing on web or mobile applications - Good understanding of testing methodologies, test plan organisation, and technical requirements - Experience building or contributing to automated test procedures - Experience with backend or API testing - Experience in a QA role within the games or interactive media industry - Experience with the Unity Engine or other interactive 3D tools
