Role Overview

Software Engineer (Python) — Remote

Hourly contract (~20 hours/week)
Support a model-training project with a leading foundational model AI lab

Responsibilities

Build and maintain complex, production-grade Python systems for real-world environments
Design modular, testable codebases using modern Python tooling and best practices
Apply advanced Python features, including:
- Decorators
- Generators
- Async/await
- Context managers
- Performance tuning
Participate in a Python-focused technical interview process

Requirements

Experience building and maintaining complex production-grade Python systems
Strong Python fundamentals and understanding of advanced Python features
Proven ability to design modular, testable codebases using modern Python tooling
Experience working at top US tech firms
