Software Engineer — Python

Role Overview

Join United States Digital Space LLC as a Software Engineer (Python). You’ll design, develop, test, and maintain software applications in collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, client-focused digital products.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software applications based on client requirements and technical specifications
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define scope, objectives, and deliverables
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality releases
• Maintain and update existing applications to improve performance, security, and usability
• Stay current on industry trends, tools, and technologies
• Assist with technical documentation and user manuals
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients and internal teams
• Share knowledge and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture
• Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and applicable regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of software development experience (portfolio of completed projects preferred)
• Proficient in Python (also mentions Java, C#, or JavaScript)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to changing requirements

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with web development frameworks, cloud platforms, and database management systems
