Role: Software Engineer, Product

Join GC AI to build product features end-to-end that directly impact how in-house legal teams review, draft, and advise.

Responsibilities

Design and implement full-stack features combining elegant UX with robust backend systems.
Architect scalable solutions across the stack, including frontend and backend.
Shape technical direction by making key architecture and infrastructure decisions.
Build and optimize cloud-native systems using GCP.
Mentor and uplift engineers through thoughtful code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Turn customer feedback into shippable specs and improve quality while reducing lead time.
Improve reliability via observability, testing, and fallbacks, especially for complex AI features.

Requirements

3+ years building production-grade web applications.
Strong expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
Deep understanding of React and frontend architecture.
Experience designing scalable backend systems and making long-lasting architectural decisions.
Experience with cloud platforms, specifically GCP.

Nice to Have

Experience with modern ORMs: Drizzle / Prisma.
API design experience.
DevOps practices knowledge.
Background building secure, compliant systems.
Familiarity with AI/LLM integrations.
Experience mentoring engineers.
Knowledge of legal tech or B2B SaaS.
