About the role

Role Overview

Atria Health is hiring a Software Engineer (Product) to design, build, and scale the systems powering member and clinical experiences. You will be an individual contributor focused on shipping product features end-to-end and collaborating with Product, Design, and Clinical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Product & Delivery
    • Partner with product managers, designers, and clinicians to turn product requirements into technical plans
    • Own delivery of features/services from design → implementation → testing → rollout → iteration
    • Collaborate with PMs and engineers to influence architecture and ensure reliability and data-driven outcomes
  • Architecture & Systems
    • Design and implement APIs, data models, and integrations for member journeys and clinical workflows
    • Contribute to an evolving architecture that helps teams build new experiences quickly
    • Build for reliability and performance (e.g., timeouts, graceful failure modes, efficient queries)
    • Participate in design reviews and RFCs with a pragmatic, product-focused perspective
  • Quality, Observability & Analytics
    • Write well-tested code with meaningful unit and integration tests
    • Instrument features with consistent Mixpanel analytics events/properties
    • Maintain dashboards and alerts tied to real user outcomes
  • Teamwork, Mentorship & Culture
    • Uphold engineering standards (conventions, patterns, documentation)
    • Provide thoughtful code reviews

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping product experiences in production
  • Track record of owning and delivering features/projects in a modern web stack
  • Experience collaborating with product and design on user-facing features
  • Strong full-stack skills (API + schema, backend logic, and UI consumption)
  • Proficient in TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework (ideally React)
  • Experience with a cloud provider and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform)
  • Systems design instincts: reliability, performance, and security

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with analytics/observability tooling and integrations for healthcare workflows (member journeys, clinical workflows, care coordination)
