About the role
Role Overview
Join a remote team as a Software Engineer to build and enhance a portal and the APIs powering the client’s financials. You’ll work on systems that connect third-party apps and vendors to support cost, revenue, and overall financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Build and spearhead the portal development
- Enhance, rebuild, and maintain services/APIs for financial data integrations
- Support integration of data from 3rd-party apps and multiple vendors
- Apply an AI-first mindset to leverage AI tools effectively and evaluate AI-generated code
- Collaborate closely with the team to deliver an application critical to cost savings
Requirements
- 4–7+ years of software engineering experience
- Go (Golang) experience
- React experience (JavaScript)
- Cloud experience (preferred: GCP)
- AI-first mindset (able to use AI, understand its output, and critique code)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice-to-Haves
- Prior experience working on portals and API-heavy systems for financial or cost-related domains
