About the role

Role Overview

Software Engineer focused on building and maintaining cross-application frontend frameworks at Palantir. You will design interfaces that enable real-time data synchronization, application integration, and intuitive user experiences across multiple platforms (web and Electron).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain cross-application frontend frameworks for real-time data sharing and user interactions
Build and maintain APIs and client-side integrations using web standards such as:
- Broadcast Channels
- Service Workers
- Local Storage
Contribute to Electron desktop applications, including desktop-specific workflow capabilities like IPC APIs
Collaborate with product teams, UX designers, and backend engineers to ensure seamless integration and strong user experiences
Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and testing to maintain quality and performance
Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and best practices to improve platform capabilities
Help define and refine UX concepts to ensure interactions feel natural, accessible, and “native”

Qualifications

2+ years of frontend software engineering experience
Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience with React (or similar frontend frameworks)
Strong understanding of web technologies and browser APIs
Knowledge of system design, algorithms, and performance optimization
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security Clearance
