About the role

Role Overview

Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications supporting high-priority digital initiatives in the DPC product area. You will work closely with Product Managers and Technical Leads across the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and JavaScript
Collaborate with Product Managers, Technical Leads, and cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems
Develop secure, high-performance, maintainable code using engineering best practices
Design and optimize database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
Participate in the full SDLC: requirements, development, testing, deployment, and production support
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and ArgoCD
Deploy and support applications on Microsoft Azure using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance, scalability, and reliability
Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical design discussions

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience)
4+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise applications
Hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot), React, and JavaScript
Experience building REST APIs and system integrations
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
Experience with GitHub, ArgoCD, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience deploying cloud applications on Microsoft Azure and with AKS
Strong knowledge of secure coding and performance optimization
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with Centric PLM, CLO, or other Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms
Experience working in Agile development environments

Contract / Logistics

40 hours/week, 6-month contract (possible extension)
Remote (United States)
