Software Engineer

Role Overview

Software Engineer at IPT Global, contributing to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software products used by employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex code and participate in the full software development lifecycle
• Assist in refining product requirements and developing applications
• Collaborate with team leads, internal resources, and clients to assess technical and operational needs
• Help design solutions based on selected architectures
• Build reliable, secure, simple, efficient, and maintainable solutions
• Estimate design scope and participate in design review sessions
• Implement features and deliver design objectives
• Run unit and system-level tests to confirm program operation
• Support product test planning, documentation, and problem resolution
• Perform code reviews on pull requests
• Contribute to self-directed group projects and research (Team Sprint)
• Maintain technical knowledge through workshops and professional learning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related science/technical field

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (C#, C++, Java)
• Experience with Microsoft .NET Framework and C# (or similar: Java, C++)
• SQL and/or ORM tools
• Web programming: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Single-Page Applications (React, Angular)
• WPF or other client application development
• Unit/functional testing for C# and/or React
• Experience using AI-powered development tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor)
• Experience integrating AI tools across planning, design, implementation, code review, and testing
• Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure (or AWS/GCP)
• Containers/microservices experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with design patterns and concepts such as MVVM and Inversion of Control
• Ability to utilize LLMs in application features
• Technical writing and design documentation
