Role Overview

Join the team as an expert iOS Developer (contractor) working remotely to design, develop, and maintain high-performance iOS applications.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance iOS apps following best practices
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define, design, and ship new features
Write clean, scalable, well-documented code for long-term maintainability
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize app performance and user experience
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high coding quality
Stay current with iOS trends, technologies, and frameworks
Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

Proven iOS development experience using Swift and Objective-C
Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM)
Experience integrating RESTful APIs, 3rd-party libraries, and Apple frameworks
Ability to write unit and UI tests
Advanced problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
Exceptional written and verbal communication for remote collaboration
Experience with version control (e.g., Git)

Nice to Have

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Agile and remote teams serving global clients
Knowledge of App Store submission and release management
