About the role
Role Overview
Join the team as an iOS Developer (Contractor) to design, build, and maintain high-performance iOS applications. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define, ship, and improve features for users worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using best practices
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to plan and deliver new features
- Write clean, scalable, well-documented code for long-term maintainability
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure optimal app performance and user experience
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high coding standards
- Stay current with iOS development trends, technologies, and frameworks
- Communicate technical concepts and project updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Skills
- Proven iOS development expertise using Swift and Objective-C
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.)
- Experience with RESTful APIs, 3rd-party libraries, and Apple frameworks
- Ability to write unit and UI tests
- Advanced problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication for remote teamwork
- Experience with Git and version control in collaborative environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Prior work in Agile, remote teams serving global clients
- Knowledge of App Store submission and release management processes
