About the role

Role Overview

Join the customer’s team as an iOS Developer. This is a contractor role with remote work, where you’ll design and build high-performance iOS applications and collaborate with product, design, and engineering to deliver new features.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance iOS applications using best practices
Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to define, design, and ship new features
Write clean, scalable, well-documented code for long-term maintainability
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure optimal performance and UX
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high coding standards
Stay current with iOS trends, technologies, and frameworks
Communicate technical concepts and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Skills

Proven expertise in iOS development using Swift and Objective-C
Strong understanding of mobile app architecture patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM)
Experience with RESTful APIs, 3rd-party libraries, and Apple frameworks
Ability to write unit and UI tests
Advanced problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
Exceptional written and verbal communication for remote teamwork
Experience using version control (e.g., Git)

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Experience working in Agile and remote teams serving global clients
Knowledge of App Store submission and release management processes
