About the role
Role Overview
Join the customer’s team as an iOS Developer. This is a contractor role with remote work, where you’ll design and build high-performance iOS applications and collaborate with product, design, and engineering to deliver new features.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance iOS applications using best practices
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, scalable, well-documented code for long-term maintainability
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure optimal performance and UX
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high coding standards
- Stay current with iOS trends, technologies, and frameworks
- Communicate technical concepts and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in iOS development using Swift and Objective-C
- Strong understanding of mobile app architecture patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM)
- Experience with RESTful APIs, 3rd-party libraries, and Apple frameworks
- Ability to write unit and UI tests
- Advanced problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication for remote teamwork
- Experience using version control (e.g., Git)
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in Agile and remote teams serving global clients
- Knowledge of App Store submission and release management processes
