Software Engineer, iOS Core Product - Stuttgart, Germany

Role Overview

Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to help support growth of the iOS app and deliver new product features. You’ll work in a dedicated product team in a fast-paced, remote-first environment, making key engineering and product decisions and actively shipping iOS production code.

Responsibilities

• Lead key engineering and product decisions
• Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app
• Collaborate within a dedicated product team
• Participate in product discussions to help shape the product roadmap
• Maintain and enhance the app’s complex existing architecture

Requirements

• Experience shipping and scaling products to a large user base
• Strong track record working from inception to traction
• Ownership mindset: responsible for the engineering side of a product
• Customer obsession and commitment to improving user experience
• Product thinking: thoughtful decisions about product evolution and alignment with designers
• Speed and prioritization: know what can ship now vs. needs more time
• Focus and strong ability to engage appropriately in a high-growth team
• Swift and SwiftUI
• Multithreading experience
• Experience with CI/CD infrastructure
• Fastlane experience
• Ability to apply SOLID principles in code design
• Proficiency with Git and understanding of different Git strategies
