Software Engineer, iOS Core Product

Role Overview

Senior iOS Engineer for Speechify’s iOS Core Product. You’ll help support a growing iOS user base and ship new features in a fast-paced, fully remote, product-focused team.

What You’ll Do

• Lead key engineering and product decisions
• Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app
• Work within a dedicated product team and participate in product discussions
• Help shape and maintain the product roadmap
• Maintain and enhance the existing complex iOS app architecture

Requirements

• Experience scaling products to a large user base
• Track record from inception through meaningful traction
• Customer obsession and strong product thinking (thoughtful decisions on product evolution)
• Speed and prioritization: decide what to ship now vs. later
• Focus and ability to work effectively in a busy remote environment
• Solid engineering fundamentals and SOLID principles
• Technical skills:
  • Swift and SwiftUI
  • Multithreading experience
  • Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure
  • Fastlane experience
  • Strong Git knowledge and understanding of Git strategies

Nice-to-haves

• Experience influencing product decisions and collaborating closely with designers/internal teams
