Software Engineer in Test

Role Overview

Bright Matrix Global is hiring an SDET (Software Engineer in Test) with CIAM/Identity experience for a 3-month contract-to-hire role in the US (onsite only). The role focuses on automating tests for banking/financial applications, including API, authentication/authorization, and database validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver (C#)
• Perform API automation and functional testing for financial applications
• Validate authentication/authorization flows using IdentityServer, OAuth2, and CIAM solutions
• Conduct database testing, including writing SQL queries for data validation
• Execute end-to-end testing for banking applications, including Corillian products
• Collaborate with development and product teams to identify, analyze, and resolve defects
• Deliver test coverage in Agile/Scrum environments
• Maintain test documentation, test cases, and automation scripts
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and CI/CD-related continuous integration initiatives

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SDET in enterprise environments
• Strong background in banking/financial services
• Hands-on experience with IdentityServer, OAuth2, and CIAM
• Proficiency in C#/.NET and Selenium WebDriver
• Strong knowledge of API testing tools/frameworks
• Experience with Corillian testing is highly desirable
• Strong SQL skills for database testing
• Ability to work independently in remote/offshore settings
• Availability to work during US business hours
• Must be willing to use your own laptop
