About the role

Role Overview

Software Engineer III to design, code, test, and debug modern, scalable UI applications. You will focus on front-end architecture and user experience while helping modernize and evolve existing UI technologies.

Responsibilities

Project leadership: Own development and rollout of entire products or large UI-focused projects; drive front-end architecture and collaborate across the full stack.
Standards & best practices: Enforce department coding standards with emphasis on Angular, TypeScript, responsive design, and UI performance optimization.
Project management: Deliver timely, high-quality, user-centric features.
Technical specifications & risk management: Write front-end architecture considerations and identify risks (UI/UX and integration dependencies).
Coaching & mentorship: Champion processes and modern front-end practices; coach colleagues and mentor less experienced engineers.
Thought leadership & innovation: Lead proactive investigation and modernization efforts; explore emerging UI and full-stack technologies.
Front-to-back collaboration: Contribute to full-stack integration and expand into backend development as needed.

Requirements

7+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
Strong proficiency in Angular and TypeScript plus modern web development and UI architecture.
Experience with project leadership, technical specification, and risk identification.
Agile methodologies experience.
CI/CD experience and good knowledge of coding standards and maintainable design patterns.
Mentorship and project management skills.

Nice to Have

Accredited education/training; advanced degrees or certifications preferred.
