About the role

Role Overview

Software Engineer III (Fullstack) to help scale and evolve Cleerly’s enterprise platform for quantitative computer-aided diagnosis. You’ll contribute to secure, reliable, and maintainable systems supporting healthcare operations, specifically within the Operational System team and the Core Lab Case Management platform.

Responsibilities

Develop scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
Build and improve user-facing applications using React and Next.js
Create performant, accessible, user-friendly UI with modern frameworks (e.g., Ant)
Write testable, observable, and maintainable code meeting performance and quality standards
Participate in system design reviews and propose practical, scalable improvements
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teammates in an Agile environment
Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and shared engineering standards
Participate in on-call rotations and help triage production issues

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering (or equivalent experience)
5–8 years of professional software engineering experience, including fullstack development
Proficiency in React, CSS, Node.js, and TypeScript
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
Strong understanding of modern engineering practices, system design, and debugging
Ability to own medium-to-large features from idea to production
Effective communication

Nice-to-haves

Prior experience with Google Workspace, Slack, Confluence/Jira, and Zoom (listed as a plus)
Travel for team meetings/cross-functional projects (varies by role)
