About the role
Role Overview
Software Engineer III (Fullstack) to help scale and evolve Cleerly’s enterprise platform for quantitative computer-aided diagnosis. You’ll contribute to secure, reliable, and maintainable systems supporting healthcare operations, specifically within the Operational System team and the Core Lab Case Management platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
- Build and improve user-facing applications using React and Next.js
- Create performant, accessible, user-friendly UI with modern frameworks (e.g., Ant)
- Write testable, observable, and maintainable code meeting performance and quality standards
- Participate in system design reviews and propose practical, scalable improvements
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teammates in an Agile environment
- Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and shared engineering standards
- Participate in on-call rotations and help triage production issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience, including fullstack development
- Proficiency in React, CSS, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
- Strong understanding of modern engineering practices, system design, and debugging
- Ability to own medium-to-large features from idea to production
- Effective communication
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience with Google Workspace, Slack, Confluence/Jira, and Zoom (listed as a plus)
- Travel for team meetings/cross-functional projects (varies by role)
