Role Overview

6sense is hiring a Software Engineer III with strong backend experience to design, develop, and scale distributed systems and backend services.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build scalable backend systems and APIs
Develop robust, production-grade applications
Contribute to the design and development of services, frameworks, and distributed systems
Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams
Support system design and technical decision-making

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of software engineering experience
Experience with Python and/or Java
Strong experience building scalable APIs and backend systems
Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
Strong problem-solving and system design capabilities

Nice to Have

Exposure to Golang and TypeScript
Experience in high-growth SaaS environments
Exposure to data platforms or analytics systems

Compensation

Base salary range: $147,918.75 - $216,947.50 (annual)
Total compensation may also include bonus/commission and stock options (where approved).
