About the role

Role Overview

Software Engineer II, Frontend on Greenlight’s Web Platform and Family Hub team. You’ll lead the design and implementation of web experiences, translating mobile features to the web with strong UX, while also participating in deployment and operational phases of the SDLC.

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of web experiences for the Web Platform / Family Hub
Translate mobile features to web while delivering world-class UX
Drive technical strategy: define engineering standards/best practices
Mentor engineers and help establish the technical vision for the web platform
Manage technical debt and champion code quality
Lead architectural evolution
Participate in deployment and operational phases of the SDLC

Requirements

BS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
3+ years of software development experience with a track record of technical leadership
Strong React / Next.js application development experience
Experience with modern build tools, testing practices, and CI/CD

Nice to Have / Preferred

Background/experience with Remix
Experience with modern build tools (e.g., Turborepo)
Testing experience with Cypress, React Testing Library, and Jest
