Software Engineer II - Flutter

Role Overview

Software Engineer II for Flutter at SentriLock. You will lead the technical side of IT efforts while developing and maintaining software systems for external customers, products, services, and internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT project management support and technical leadership for IT initiatives.
• Analyze and direct system architecture, platforms, and tools; evaluate tools relevant to the business.
• Drive consistent development methods and paradigms across teams.
• Make ROI determinations for new tools and platforms and communicate findings to upper management.
• Maintain a master architectural plan covering databases, systems, and services.
• Plan, estimate, and deliver software features on time:
  • Create feature estimates and schedules
  • Allocate resources to features based on company needs
  • Coordinate with multiple departments for releases
• Optimize databases for efficiency.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle (analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation).
• Conduct software analysis and reviews, including:
  • Requirements analysis
  • Code reviews and code metrics
  • System risk and software reliability analysis
  • Syntax/logic verification and result accuracy
  • Test data/procedures/documentation
• Support testers and support personnel with troubleshooting; respond professionally to bug reports.
• Communicate with engineers, other departments, and manufacturer technical support regarding programming needs and performance.
• Mentor software developers.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards; participate in projects and ongoing training.
