About the role

Role Overview

Design, build, test, and maintain scalable backend systems, services, and APIs for an AI lending marketplace.

Responsibilities

Develop production backend systems (and services/APIs) with a focus on reliability and maintainability
Collaborate with senior engineers on projects and deliver high-quality software
Translate business, operational, and regulatory requirements into robust software
Improve system reliability, observability, and operational excellence across backend services
Participate in technical design discussions, taking on increasing technical ownership
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end outcomes

Requirements

2+ years of software engineering experience
Experience building production backend or full-stack systems
API and backend services/web application experience
Proficiency in at least one modern language: Java, Kotlin, Python, Go, or similar
Strong fundamentals in software design, testing, debugging, and operational ownership
Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Math (or equivalent practical experience)
