About the role

Role Overview

Software Engineer, Fullstack (UI) at Tamnoon. You will design, develop, and maintain secure, reliable, high-performing web applications with a strong emphasis on React + TypeScript, working end-to-end from UI to APIs to production.

Responsibilities

Build end-to-end product features using TypeScript, React, and Node.js (UI → APIs → production releases)
Translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, accessible, responsive components
Develop and consume RESTful APIs to connect front-end and back-end systems
Ensure integration quality, data integrity, and security across the stack
Identify and fix performance, reliability, and UX issues; improve iteratively
Write and maintain tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) using tools like Vitest, Mocha/Chai, Playwright
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions; contribute to architecture decisions
Own deployed code: monitor production, investigate issues, and drive remediation
Support CI/CD workflows with automated testing and deployment
Communicate trade-offs and implementation plans clearly with cross-functional partners

AI & Modern Development Practices

Use AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to prototype and accelerate delivery
Critically evaluate AI output for correctness, performance, security, and maintainability
Use AI to debug and improve productivity while maintaining engineering ownership
Contribute to evolving team best practices for AI-assisted engineering

Requirements

Strong proficiency building web applications with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
Strong UI craftsmanship: spacing, states, responsiveness, accessibility
Comfort with modern testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha/Chai, Cypress, Playwright)
Ability to analyze ambiguous problems and execute effectively
Strong collaboration and communication across technical/non-technical stakeholders
Solid system design fundamentals: API design, data modeling, performance, reliability, security
Strong engineering judgment balancing speed, quality, and maintainability

Nice-to-haves

Experience with Nest.js and modern front-end best practices
Experience working in AWS environments
Experience building/integrating AI-powered features or workflows
Experience shaping engineering practices in fast-moving teams
