Software Engineer (Full-Stack)

Role Overview

Runpod is hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer to help build tools that bridge AI engineering and scalable infrastructure. You’ll work with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver features that improve the experience for AI engineers and researchers.

Responsibilities

• Frontend & Backend development: Build and maintain user interfaces, APIs, and core platform components (primary focus on Python and TypeScript).
• SDK support & development: Contribute to Runpod’s open-source SDK to keep it intuitive and effective for developers.
• Collaboration: Partner with engineering and AI teams to ship features and fix bugs.
• Testing & code quality: Write clean, maintainable code with attention to performance, scalability, and best practices for testing and CI.
• Growth & learning: Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Some experience with Python and/or TypeScript and a strong desire to grow as a full-stack engineer.
• Basic frontend knowledge: HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks.
• Basic backend knowledge: familiarity with frameworks such as React, Express, FastAPI, Pydantic, etc.
• Interest in open-source contributions.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative communication skills.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Git and version control workflow familiarity.

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with Go or other strict-type languages.
• Experience with cloud platforms, distributed computing, and/or containerization (Docker).
• Demonstrated full-stack work via projects or coursework.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay: $130,000–$200,000 (annual). Range may vary by career level, experience, qualifications, and location.
