Software Engineer (Full-Stack)

Role Overview

Runpod is hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer to help build tools and platform features that bridge AI engineering with scalable infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Frontend & Backend development: Build and maintain user interfaces, APIs, and core platform components.
• Work primarily with Python and TypeScript (plus other services as needed).
• SDK support & development: Help maintain an intuitive open-source SDK for developers integrating with Runpod.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional engineering and AI teams to ship features and fix bugs that improve the experience for AI engineers and researchers.
• Testing & code quality: Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on performance and scalability, following testing and CI best practices.
• Learning & team contribution: Participate in code reviews, mentorship, and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Some experience with Python and/or TypeScript and interest in growing in a full-stack role.
• Strong web development knowledge across frontend (HTML/CSS/JS frameworks) and backend frameworks (e.g., React, Express, FastAPI, Pydantic).
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Interest in open-source contributions (plus).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Background check completion.

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with Go (or other strict-type languages).
• Exposure to cloud platforms, distributed computing, and/or containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Prior projects/coursework demonstrating full-stack experience.
