About the role

Role: Software Engineer, Full-Stack

Mission-driven engineer to build and ship customer-facing products across Owner.com’s entire system.

Responsibilities

Build new products and features (0→1) and take ownership from conception through shipping
Deliver value to end users across the full system
Shape product direction by collaborating in feature brainstorms and roadmap planning with users and teammates
Help build the team by contributing to hiring and referring strong engineers

Requirements

3+ years of experience building applications (side projects count)
Strong TypeScript experience
Experience scaling with either or both:
- Frontend: React, Next.js
- Backend: Node.js, MongoDB
Experience in a product-focused startup/scale-up or high-growth technology company
High cross-functional collaboration and leadership; strong communication and proactive mindset

Nice to have

Experience collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and business leaders

Remote / Location

100% remote; can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada
Optional in-person collaboration for San Francisco-based candidates (new HQ in the Presidio)
