About the role
Role Overview
Own the full software development lifecycle for Evlo AI’s core user-facing web applications, building scalable frontend interfaces and robust backend microservices. You’ll tackle architectural challenges where performance, reliable state management, and API quality directly impact the experience of millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance full-stack features using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL
- Develop and scale backend microservices and RESTful APIs hosted on AWS, using Docker and Kubernetes
- Optimize frontend performance via bundle splitting, lazy loading, and sound state management strategies
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest, Cypress, and Testing Library
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and CI pipeline improvements
Requirements
- 3–6 years of professional experience building scalable web applications from conception to production
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML5, and CSS3 with solid UI/UX practices
- Demonstrated backend experience with Node.js (and/or Python or Go) and relational databases like PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), containerization, and CI/CD
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Bonus
- Experience with React Native for mobile development
- Contributions to major open-source projects
