About the role
Role Overview
Software Engineer – Frontend (AI Training Contract) You’ll help train AI systems by creating, evaluating, and refining frontend UI coding problems and solutions. This role is fully remote and asynchronous, with work done on your own schedule.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated frontend code for:
- correctness
- efficiency
- accessibility
- best practices
- Write high-quality frontend solutions to UI/web development challenges across varying difficulty levels
- Explain design decisions and code logic clearly and logically
- Identify edge cases, ambiguities, or errors in prompts and AI-generated responses
- Help establish standards for what great frontend code looks like for both humans and AI
Requirements
- Fluent English with strong written communication
- Deep expertise in JavaScript, including:
- async/await
- closures
- DOM manipulation
- ES6+ syntax
- browser APIs
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks/tools: React, Vue, or Angular
- 3+ years of hands-on frontend or web development experience (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or in progress); Master’s/PhD a plus
- Detail-oriented, comfortable working independently without close supervision
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimization
- Experience with state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Pinia)
- Prior work related to data labeling, RLHF, or AI model training
