About the role
Role: Software Engineer – Frontend (Contract)
Contract, fully remote and asynchronous (min. 15 hrs/week).
What you’ll do
- Review and evaluate AI-generated frontend code for correctness, efficiency, accessibility, and clarity.
- Write high-quality frontend solutions for UI and web development problems across different difficulty levels.
- Provide clear, user-friendly explanations for design decisions, code logic, and problem-solving strategies.
- Identify and flag edge cases or ambiguities in problem statements or AI responses.
Requirements
- Fluent English with strong written communication and the ability to explain frontend concepts clearly.
- Strong JavaScript skills, including:
- async/await, closures
- DOM manipulation
- ES6+ syntax
- browser APIs
- 3–5 years experience with modern frontend frameworks/tools/domains (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing) in Computer Science or related field (Master’s/PhD preferred but not required).
Nice to have
- Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or other AI training projects.
Interview process
- English screening with Zara (AI interviewer).
- Domain-specific interview assessing frontend expertise (frameworks, state management, performance optimization).
