Role overview

Software Engineer (Frontend) — AI Training Contract. You’ll help evaluate and improve AI systems that generate frontend code. Work is fully remote and asynchronous, with no meetings required, and you can set your own schedule.

Responsibilities

Review and evaluate AI-generated frontend code for:
- correctness, efficiency, accessibility, and clarity
Implement high-quality frontend solutions for UI/web problems across varying difficulty levels
Write clear explanations for design decisions, code logic, and problem-solving strategies
Identify edge cases, bugs, and ambiguities in prompts or AI-generated responses
Help define and uphold quality standards for great frontend code at scale

Requirements

Strong command of JavaScript (including async/await, closures, DOM manipulation, ES6+, and browser APIs)
Experience with modern frontend frameworks/tooling (e.g., React, Vue, Angular, or similar)
Ability to communicate technical concepts in writing
Detail-oriented, consistent quality mindset
Self-motivated and able to work independently in an async environment

Nice to have

3–5+ years of professional frontend development experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Familiarity with data labeling and RLHF (or other AI training workflows)
Experience with web accessibility standards and performance optimization

Working model

Fully remote, asynchronous contract work
Minimum ~15 hours/week
Flexible commitment; pick up work when it suits you
