Role Overview
Software Engineer – Frontend (AI Training Contract) As a frontend engineer, you’ll help shape how AI understands and generates frontend code. Your work focuses on evaluating and producing high-quality UI coding problems and solutions used to train and test cutting-edge AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated frontend code for:
- correctness, efficiency
- accessibility and clarity
- Write high-quality solutions to UI and web development problems across varying difficulty levels
- Explain design decisions and code logic clearly (including reasoning and problem-solving approach)
- Identify edge cases and ambiguities in problem statements and AI-generated responses
- Help set the quality bar for “great frontend code” at scale
Requirements
- Fluent English with strong written communication skills to explain frontend concepts clearly
- Deep expertise in JavaScript, including:
- async/await, closures
- DOM manipulation, ES6+ syntax
- browser APIs
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks and tooling such as React, Vue, or Angular
- Strong attention to detail and ability to catch subtle bugs and edge cases
- Self-motivated, comfortable working independently in an asynchronous, remote environment
Nice to Have
- 3–5+ years of professional frontend development experience
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or AI training workflows
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards and performance optimization techniques
