Role Overview
Software Engineer – Frontend (AI Training Contract) You’ll help evaluate and improve AI systems that generate code. The work focuses on reviewing AI-written frontend UI solutions, building high-quality implementations, and providing expert feedback so next-generation AI coding tools become more reliable.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated frontend code (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) for:
- correctness, efficiency, accessibility, and clarity
- Write high-quality frontend solutions for UI and web development problems of varying difficulty
- Explain design decisions and code logic clearly in writing, including problem-solving strategies
- Identify edge cases, bugs, and ambiguities in prompts or AI-generated responses
- Help set quality standards for what “great” frontend code looks like (at scale)
Requirements
- Strong command of JavaScript (async/await, closures, DOM manipulation, ES6+ syntax, browser APIs)
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks/tooling (React, Vue, Angular, or similar)
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in writing
- Detail-oriented, consistent, and focused on correctness and quality
- Self-motivated; comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment
Nice to Have
- 3–5+ years of professional frontend development experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or related)
- Familiarity with data labeling, RLHF, or other AI training workflows
- Experience with web accessibility standards and performance optimization
Logistics
- Fully remote, asynchronous contract work
- No meetings required
- Flexible commitment with a minimum of 15 hours/week
- Work schedule can be set by you
