About the role
Role overview
Software Engineer — Frontend (Contract) (fully remote & asynchronous). You’ll help improve the quality of AI-generated frontend code and build correct, accessible UI solutions that support AI model development.
What you’ll do
- Review and evaluate AI-generated frontend code (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) for:
- correctness
- efficiency
- accessibility
- clarity
- Write high-quality frontend solutions to UI/web development problems across varying difficulty levels
- Create clear explanations for design decisions, code logic, and problem-solving strategies
- Identify and flag edge cases/ambiguities in problem statements or AI responses
Requirements
- Fluent English and strong written communication skills
- Ability to clearly explain frontend coding concepts
- Strong JavaScript expertise, including:
- async/await
- closures
- DOM manipulation
- ES6+ syntax
- browser APIs
- 3–5 years experience with modern frontend frameworks/tools/domains (e.g., React, Vue, Angular is a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing) in Computer Science or related field
- Master’s/PhD preferred (not required)
Bonus / nice to have
- Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or other AI training projects
Working model
- Work from anywhere with a flexible workload
- Fully remote & asynchronous, minimum 15 hours/week
Interview process
- English screening with Zara (AI interviewer)
- Domain-specific Zara interview to assess frontend expertise, including:
- frontend frameworks

- performance optimization
