About the role
Role Overview
Software Engineer – Frontend (AI Training Contract) Help train AI models by creating and refining high-quality frontend UI coding problems and solutions. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role with asynchronous work on your own schedule.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated frontend code for:
- correctness, efficiency, accessibility, and best practices
- Write frontend solutions to UI/web development challenges across multiple difficulty levels
- Produce clear explanations for design decisions, code logic, and problem-solving approaches
- Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and errors in problem statements and AI responses
- Help set the standard for great frontend code for both humans and AI
Requirements
- Fluent English with strong written communication skills
- Deep expertise in JavaScript, including:
- async/await, closures, DOM manipulation, ES6+ syntax, and browser APIs
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
- 3+ years of hands-on frontend or web development experience (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in CS or related field (Master’s/PhD a plus)
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working independently without close supervision
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimization
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Pinia)
- Prior work related to data labeling, RLHF, or AI model training
