About the role

Role Overview

As a Software Engineer – Frontend (AI Training Contract), you will evaluate and improve AI systems that generate code. You’ll review AI-generated UI implementations, write your own high-quality frontend solutions, and provide written feedback that helps make AI coding tools more reliable.

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated frontend code for correctness, efficiency, accessibility, and clarity (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
  • Implement high-quality frontend solutions for UI/web problems across multiple difficulty levels
  • Write clear, well-reasoned explanations for design decisions, code logic, and problem-solving strategies
  • Identify edge cases, bugs, and ambiguities in problem statements or AI-generated responses
  • Help establish and scale the bar for great frontend code

Requirements

  • Strong command of JavaScript (async/await, closures, DOM manipulation, ES6+, browser APIs)
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks and tooling (React, Vue, Angular, or similar)
  • Ability to clearly explain technical concepts in writing
  • Detail-oriented, consistent, and focused on correctness and quality
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment

Nice to Have

  • 3–5+ years of professional frontend development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Familiarity with data labeling, RLHF, or other AI training workflows
  • Experience with web accessibility standards and performance optimization

Work Setup

  • Fully remote, asynchronous contract work
  • Minimum commitment: 15 hours/week
  • No meetings required; set your own schedule
