About the role
Role Overview
Software Engineer – Frontend (AI Training Contract) Help train the next generation of AI by evaluating and writing high-quality frontend coding problems and solutions. This is a fully remote, flexible contract where you work asynchronously on your own schedule.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated frontend code for:
- correctness
- efficiency
- accessibility
- best practices
- Write frontend solutions to UI and web development challenges across multiple difficulty levels
- Produce clear, well-reasoned explanations for:
- design decisions
- code logic
- problem-solving approaches
- Identify edge cases, ambiguities, or errors in problem statements and AI-generated responses
- Help establish standards for great frontend code for both humans and AI
Requirements
- Fluent English and strong written communication skills
- Deep expertise in JavaScript, including:
- async/await
- closures
- DOM manipulation
- ES6+ syntax
- browser APIs
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks/tools: React, Vue, or Angular
- 3+ years of hands-on frontend or web development experience (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in CS or related field (Master’s/PhD is a plus)
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working independently without close supervision
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimization
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Pinia)
- Prior work related to data labeling, RLHF, or AI model training
