About the role
Role Overview
Software Engineer - Frontend (Contract) Fully remote and asynchronous (minimum 15 hours/week). The role focuses on reviewing and writing frontend code to improve AI-generated outputs used for AI training and model development.
What You’ll Do
- Review and evaluate AI-generated frontend code (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) for:
- correctness
- efficiency
- accessibility
- clarity
- Write high-quality frontend solutions for UI and web development problems across varying difficulty levels
- Explain your reasoning clearly, including:
- design decisions
- code logic
- problem-solving strategies
- Identify and flag edge cases or ambiguities in problem statements or AI responses
Requirements
- Fluent English with strong written communication
- Ability to clearly explain frontend coding concepts
- JavaScript expertise, including:
- async/await
- closures
- DOM manipulation
- ES6+ syntax
- browser APIs
- 3–5 years of experience with modern frontend frameworks/tools/domains (e.g., React, Vue, Angular), plus is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or pursuing)
Nice to Have
- Master’s or PhD (preferred, not required)
- Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or other AI training projects
Interview Process
- Screen with Zara (AI interviewer) in English
- Domain-specific Zara interview assessing:
- frontend frameworks
- state management
- performance optimization
