Role overview
Software Engineer – Frontend (Contract) (remote, United States preferred) You will review and implement frontend code solutions that help shape the data powering frontier AI systems. Work is fully remote and asynchronous with a minimum commitment of 15 hours/week.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated frontend code for:
- correctness
- efficiency
- accessibility
- clarity
- Write frontend solutions for UI and web development problems across varying difficulty levels.
- Create clear explanations covering design decisions, code logic, and problem-solving approach.
- Identify edge cases and flag ambiguities in problem statements or AI responses.
Requirements
- Fluent English with strong written communication and the ability to explain frontend concepts clearly.
- Strong JavaScript expertise, including:
- async/await
- closures
- DOM manipulation
- ES6+ syntax
- browser APIs
- 3–5 years of experience with modern frontend frameworks, tools, or related domains (e.g., React, Vue, Angular, web development).
- Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing) in Computer Science or related field.
Nice to have
- Master’s or PhD preferred.
- Experience with data labeling and/or RLHF (or other AI training projects).
Interview process
- Screening with Zara (AI interviewer) in English.
- Domain-specific interview to assess frontend expertise, including frameworks, state management, and performance optimization.
