Software Engineer (Front End)

Role Overview

You’ll join GudangAda’s Tech & Product team as a Software Engineer (Front End), partnering closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to conceptualize and build new features.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend to plan and build new product features.
• Own front-end team features/systems and define their long-term health and improvements.
• Improve the health of surrounding systems and contribute to high-impact team projects.
• Assist support and operations by helping triage and resolve production issues.
• Mentor other engineers and perform deep code reviews.
• Raise engineering standards, including tooling and processes.

Requirements

• Strong passion for software engineering and excellent understanding of software engineering concepts, design patterns, and algorithms.
• Ability to contribute to technical architecture discussions and help drive technical decisions.
• Write understandable, testable, maintainable code.
• Strong communication skills; can explain complex technical concepts to designers, support, and engineers.
• Solid computer science fundamentals (e.g., data structures, algorithms, programming languages, and distributed systems / information retrieval).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
