Role Overview

Submit high-quality, licensing-ready software engineering documents for evaluation. This is a flexible, remote independent contractor engagement focused on creating technically rigorous documentation that is ready for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Submit original .DOCX software engineering documents for formal quality review
• Create technical deliverables such as:
  • PRDs
  • Architecture documents
  • API specifications
  • Migration plans
• Produce stakeholder-ready documentation, including:
  • Charts/visuals
  • Clear methodologies
  • Reproducibility notes
• Ensure all materials are personally created and legally shareable
• Maintain strong formatting discipline and clear document hierarchy
• Work as an independent contractor on a flexible remote schedule

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software engineering documentation and technical writing
• Ability to create structured, stakeholder-facing technical deliverables
• Proficiency preparing real-world .DOCX files with detailed technical content and visual polish
• Ability to produce original human-generated engineering documentation without automated assistance
