Role Overview

Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for Metasys Technologies via Dice. This is a contract role based in Phoenix, AZ (Remote).

Responsibilities

Build and maintain automated test suites for web, mobile, databases, and/or web services
Execute and improve testing across regression, functional, unit, integration, coverage, and performance/load
Test applications that integrate via RESTful APIs
Use API testing frameworks and support load/performance testing
Review and provide feedback to teammates on pull requests
Apply knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and collaborate within an Agile process

3+ years of software test experience with test automation (web/mobile/database/web services)
Agile experience; familiarity with tools such as Rally, Jira, TFS, or ServiceNow
Strong coding skills in JavaScript, C#, TypeScript, or other relevant languages
Advanced understanding of frameworks/tools including Angular, Bootstrap, Node.js, Express
Advanced knowledge of web testing tools such as Selenium, Jasmine, Protractor, Cucumber, Appium, or Cypress
Source control experience with Git or Subversion

Experience with test management tools such as qTest, ALM, TFS, or similar
Experience with API test frameworks: Karate, Gatling, JMeter, Postman
Some experience with load and performance testing
Knowledge of cloud and testing platforms such as AWS, Azure, Heroku, Perfecto Mobile, SauceLabs
