About the role

Role Overview

Join BeyondTrust as a Software Development Engineer to build and support the NHI Governance domain within the Pathfinder SaaS products. You’ll implement and maintain features and services, partnering with senior engineers, product, and design.

Responsibilities

Implement, test, and maintain well-scoped features and services across the NHI Governance domain
Collaborate with product, design, and engineers to turn requirements into working software
Investigate and fix bugs and improve service quality and reliability
Participate in design discussions and collaborate cross-functionally
Write clean, readable code and follow through on ownership to completion

Requirements

Solid programming skills in at least one modern language (C#, Go, TypeScript, Java, or similar) and experience building/consuming APIs
Experience with a modern JavaScript framework (Angular, React, or Vue) with TypeScript
Understanding of testing practices and familiarity with CI/CD workflows
Hands-on experience using Claude Code (or comparable agentic AI coding tools)
Foundational experience with cloud-native development and a public cloud provider (AWS preferred)
Exposure to identity security concepts: IAM, secrets, OAuth/OIDC
Good communication and collaboration; able to work through ambiguity with guidance
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn and grow

Nice-to-Haves

Familiarity with data modeling, observability, or Infrastructure as Code
Interest in building technical depth in the NHI Governance domain
